Be it a long song...where people are dancing and dancing...to a short sweet song that takes focus, integrity and sincere meaning, she can accomplish many a fondness and dancing foot.

Tamara has captured her audiences with poetic swiftness & lyrical positioning between music and rhythm... intellectually stimulating the heart, mind and soul. Keeping the pulse and essence of her true inner self, Tamara's brilliant poetic original lyrics and powerful message of love and peace makes Tamara's performance full of strength and vision

Tamara peeks interest in the pursuance of the "audible life stream" when it comes to her musicianship and performance abilities. She is determined to be guided, and to guide others with inner power and peace. In Tamara's performance, she shows quite an amazing focus and realness when contemplating what she is singing about.

Tamara's inward study of self-realization and god realization has helped her in the quest for true meaning of her musical abilities, therefore being able to hold the position with high rank in the spiritual realms of music. Music to Tamara is a healing medium in which she herself has been healed by it's presence in her own musical career.

Tamara feels that in the beginning of time, genderless, merciful and omnipresent, the supream power of all creation intended man and women to be equally unigue and geniune. Without woman there would be no man and without man there would be no woman. So, in this lifetime she has come as a female. Androgynous and genderless at heart, she has appeared on this physical plane in delusional female garb. Neither worshiping male or female, yet soul as the real energy embodied.

Tamara feels music is a way to deepen the relationship between god and man. Musical abilities are gifts that need to be shared when the talent appears...usually at a young age. Nurturing the musicianship qualities in people is one of Tamara's work as well as helping the youth discover and inspire the abilities in themselves.

Tamara Venus Star quotes: "Being a woman in the music business is not an easy task. In fact, being of female gender in some countries is dangerous and life threatening. The oppression against women is astounding in documented percentiles of abuse and murder against women of certain nations. As a woman, i have experienced first hand the oppression that a female can experience when thrown into the cage of discrimination. I have great admiration for successful women. Without these women, i would not have had the inspiration to continue my mission of sharing the music that flows through me. If it helps me, i know it must be helping others. I want the music to be personalized, not to become identified with mistaken ego natured falsivity."

Tamara Venus Star understands the struggle it takes to overcome judgemental obsticals which still plague our planet daily. This struggle between male and female power. Both being powerful- in different ways... she feels the world needs to liberate even more as far as gender relations go.

Tamara feels the music business to be a rough business at times. Very competitive. If not wise, one can get banged around, taken advantage of ,criticised...and forced to deal with the unfortunate aspects of being a performer.

In the relation to lyrics, Tamara's study in Hindu chanting and other forms of chanting are a way to help the reinforce positive vibration on the planet as a form of calling all powers for help to this world. Singing about the elements and preservation of them are very important. Environmentally speaking, Tamara is in the forefront to connecting with animals, the earth and everything living.

Tamara Venus Star quotes: "I love the music of all era's...there is something to say about all types of music...reaching a larger audience with songs and lyrics that all types of people can relate to...when it comes to the masses...hopefully we can all believe love to be the root of everything. I play what i feel, i write lyrics from the depths of my being. There are so many musicians/ singer-songwriters that i love...including Mozart. And really, it is in the silence where the music really lies."

Quote: Richard O'Connell (past drummer for Etta James,The John Wood Trio, Stephen Stills, U.X.A., recorded with Jimi Hendrix and many more...): " It is very important to me when playing with a vocalist, that the lyrics catch me. That is why I was instantly drawn to Tamara Venus Star. The musicality, sincerity, and meaningful lyrics really touched me. The message is very important! I love it! I'm the only one that gets to sit down and dig the brilliance. Her music really grooves!"

*All mp3's on this site contain Richard O'Connell on trap drums backing up Tamara's songs...Tamara Says: "I love Ritchie's playing...He is very versitile...Not only can he rip it up big time on drums, he is a great arranger as well. His drum arrangements are brilliant! He can play pretty much anything you ask him to. I've been very priviledged to meet and play with Ritchie. You can see photographs of him behind his drum kit...when we played the Cherry Festival this last summer 2005...look under photographs and you will find him...and the mp3's- all him on drums! Thank you Richard L. O'Connell!

* All mp3's with Jake Kilburg on Bass. The young Jake Kilburg did a very good job considering the short time of his visit from Pittsburg, Pennsylvania- and the fact that he used a fretless bass. Thanks to you as well Jake for a job well done!

Tamara has been featured on about 6 albums so far...and now is in the process of completing her first all original album with the help of Flying Whale Studio's, KeyDragon Studio's and the musicians who contributed their time and energy to help her! She refused to use a metronome while recording...therefore, this is what happened when you hear it! No excuses, just raw reality!
